Join us on Sunday
Every Sunday at 10:30AM
Sunday mornings are the primary way that we gather together as a church. During these gatherings we sing, read scripture, listen to teaching, spend time in prayer, and take part in communion together. For almost 2,000 years, the weekly gathering of Christians has been the center of life within the church.
Regardless of where you are, or whether or not you consider yourself a Christian, you are welcome to join us! You can belong before you believe.

We know that walking into a church for the first time can be an intimidating thing, so we want to make sure that you’re prepared for what will happen when you visit us on a Sunday. Keep scrolling down this page to get an idea of what your experience will be like at Leverington Church.
What to Expect
At Leverington Church, we approach worship as a transformative experience that transcends traditional religious boundaries. Our music is a blend of modern and timeless, designed to engage both the heart and mind. Whether you're familiar with church music or not, you'll find our worship accessible and thought-provoking. We invite you to join us in this collective expression of faith, doubt, and hope.
Worship
Our teaching aims to be intellectually engaging and spiritually enriching. We explore the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth through a lens that is both historical and relevant to our modern lives. Our goal is to challenge you to think critically about faith, ethics, and community. Whether you're a believer, a skeptic, or somewhere in between, you'll find our messages to be engaging and applicable to everyday life.
Teaching
Prayer and Response
We emphasize the importance of meaningful action over emotional resonance in our gatherings. We often incorporate times of prayer and response into our Sunday worship through reciting Psalms or creeds, celebrating the Lord's Table together, and spending time in contemplation during what we call "Stations."
Kids
Infants to 5th Grade
One thing that is clear in the the Gospels is that Jesus loves and cares deeply about kids. We believe that kids fully belong here right now, not just when they become adults. If you are a parent, you can expect your kid to learn about God, make a friend, and experience the value and dignity that they deserve.

Yes! What happens in Leverington Kids is so much more than childcare. We believe that kids belong in the kingdom of God, so every Sunday we create a safe, fun, and developmentally meaningful space for kids to encounter their Heavenly Father who loves them so much.
With that being said, we have volunteers who would love to be with your kids (infant through 5th grade) during the service.
